Beloved husband of Victoria “Vicki” (nee Lammert) of 65 years; dearest father of Karen (the late Randall) Beck and Jeffrey (Angela) Wittman; dear grandpa of Matthew, Barbara, Christopher and the late Michael; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Ray was a St. Louis City Police Officer, Security Advisor at McDonnell-Douglas and Square Dancer. Service Wed., November 6, 9:45 a.m. from HUTCHENS MORTUARY, 675 Graham Rd. He lived in St. Louis with his family and then moved to California for several years. They returned to St. Louis and lived on Missouri

This is my husband's grandmother Anna, she was born May 14, 1906 in Missouri. Anna's family was from Czechoslovakia .  According to Anna's dress and hairstyle, this photo was probably taken sometime in the 1920's. Source: Wikipedia As you can see, Anna was a lovely young woman who won the heart of Emil Wittman Sr. and they married after Emil's service in WWI . Emil Jr. and Raymond Wittman Anna and Emil Wittman(n) Sr. had two sons: Emil Jr. and Raymond (my father-in-law). Raymond and Victoria Wittman's Wedding Photo (1954) Anna and Emil Wittman are the couple on the right. Anna and Emil spent their early married life in Los Angeles, California, where they owned and operated a cafe/convenience store. They eventually returned to Missouri and lived in St. Louis until their deaths. Emil Jr. was born in 1930 and Raymond in 1932. This picture may have been taken in the late 1930's or early 1940's.
